DICED Knives was founded in 2023 by Chef Don Guthro and Vancouver designer Riley Janzen, who wanted to bring unique and sustainable kitchen and utility knives to the market. Our knives are not only affordable, but also high-quality and produced by hand in small batches in the lower mainland of BC, Canada. With our combined passion for food and design, we've created a brand that reflects our love for functionality and beauty in the kitchen.
Don Guthro
DICED is the brainchild of Don Guthro, an accomplished executive chef, restaurateur, consultant and culinary school director who wanted to find a way to give back by providing affordable and sponsored training to aspiring cooks and hard-working individuals. With the addition of the knives he wanted to make high quality chef and utility tools affordable for everyone.
His hard work and dedication paid out when he won the Life Time Achievement Award in 2023
